Long-term evolution of multimass rotating star clusters

چکیده
We investigate the long-term dynamical evolution of internal kinematics multimass rotating star clusters. have performed a set N-body simulations to follow clusters with different degrees initial rotation and explored rotational velocity, degree energy equipartition, anisotropy in velocity distribution. Our show that: 1) as cluster evolves, develops dependence on stellar mass more massive stars characterised by rapid peak curve closer centre than low-mass stars; 2) equipartition cluster's intermediate outer regions depends component dispersion measured; for rapidly clusters, towards is direction velocity; 3) distribution stronger 4) both segregation are spatial anisotropy; they $R$ $z$, correlated flattening variation density dispersion, shown 2D maps ($R$-$z$) meridional plane.

Scaling relations in dynamical evolution of star clusters
We have carried out a series of small scale collisional N-body calculations of single-mass star clusters to investigate the dependence of the lifetime of star clusters on their initial parameters. Our models move through an external galaxy potential with a logarithmic density profile and they are limited by a cut-off radius. In order to find scaling relations between the lifetime of star cluste...
متن کاملThe Evolution of Long-term Care Programs; Comment on “Financing Long-term Care: Lessons From Japan”
The need for long-term care (LTC) represents a “new social risk,” one that overlaps with and complements systems of care that pre-date such programs, complicating LTC program design. This commentary expands on Ikegami’s discussion of how these structural factors must be accommodated, as well as historical and cultural factors that influence public expectations of such a...
متن کاملThe long-term survival chances of young massive star clusters
I review the long-term survival chances of young massive star clusters (YMCs), hallmarks of intense starburst episodes often associated with violent galaxy interactions. In particular, I address the key question as to whether at least some of these YMCs can be considered proto-globular clusters (GCs). In the absence of significant external perturbations, the key factor determining a cluster’s l...
متن کاملEvolution of Nuclear Star Clusters
Two-body relaxation times of nuclear star clusters are short enough that gravitational encounters should substantially affect their structure in 10 Gyr or less. In nuclear star clusters without massive black holes, dynamical evolution is a competition between core collapse, which causes densities to increase, and heat input from the surrounding galaxy, which causes densities to decrease. The ma...
متن کاملChemical evolution of star clusters.
I discuss the chemical evolution of star clusters, with emphasis on old Galactic globular clusters (GCs), in relation to their formation histories. GCs are clearly formed in a complex fashion, under markedly different conditions from any younger clusters presently known. Those special conditions must be linked to the early formation epoch of the Galaxy and must not have occurred since. While a ...
